I've been running a Facebook campaign since November 2024 without making any changes to the campaign, ad set, or creatives. Up until recently, the campaign was consistently generating between 50 to 70 leads per day within my set budget.

However, over the past 10 days, I've noticed a significant drop in performance. Lead volume has decreased to an average of around 20 per day, and on some days, it's dropped below 10—despite no changes on my end and the same budget.

I’m trying to understand what might be causing this sudden decline. Has anyone else experienced something similar? What could be the possible reasons behind this drop in lead volume?

Would really appreciate any insights or suggestions from those with experience.

If your Facebook campaign has been running since November without changes and performance suddenly drops, it’s likely due to ad fatigue, audience saturation, or seasonal shifts—even if you haven’t changed anything. Over time, your audience may have seen the same creatives too often (check frequency), or you’ve exhausted the high-intent users Meta was optimizing for. Increased competition and algorithmic shifts can also reduce reach and lead volume at the same budget. 

What You Can Do:

  • Rotate in fresh creatives to re-engage your audience (even minor headline or image changes help).
  • Try rebuilding the campaign from scratch and reusing best-performing assets.
  • Expand or refine your audience targeting to reach fresh prospects.
  • Consider testing a new campaign objective (e.g., Conversions instead of Leads) if you’re seeing form drops.
  • Check pixel tracking or lead delivery—sometimes a backend issue is the real cause.
