It’s a reporting glitch inside Meta Ads Manager, and you're definitely not the only one seeing this, it often happens when you're using multiple static creatives in a single ad or when using dynamic creative setups.
1) Break out static images into separate ads
Instead of running them all under one ad, duplicate the ad and assign one image per ad. This gives you clear visibility into performance.
2) Avoid using Dynamic Creative if you need breakdowns
Dynamic Creative combines all creatives into one ad and optimizes delivery, but you won’t see granular image-level data unless you use 3rd-party tools or manually test each creative.
3) Use Ads Manager Breakdown (by Asset Type)
Go to your ad level reporting → click on “Breakdown” → choose "By Asset" → "Image, Video, Slideshow"
If it’s still blank or not reporting correctly, Meta may be having temporary reporting issues.
4) Use Creative Reporting Tools like Meta’s A/B Test Tool or Experiments
These offer more structured creative testing and cleaner breakdowns.
5) Clear cache or try a different browser
Sometimes browser issues can affect how dropdowns work in Ads Manager (especially with larger campaigns).
