I want to tweak in the audience for the page like campaign. While the location is narrowed down to where I want, I want to know how to further narrow down the audience to the people living in the area rather than visiting the area. Can someone please help me with this?

I don't have an option to choose either but it is displayed as both of it together.

Meta is defaulting to “People living in or recently in this location”, which includes both residents and visitors. If you want to narrow it down to residents only, you’ll need to adjust the location targeting settings manually—but it’s a little hidden in the current UI.

Here’s How to Do It:

1) Go to your Ad Set level in Ads Manager.

2) Under the “Audience” section, find the “Location” setting.

3) Click on the small dropdown next to the location name.

4) You’ll see these options:

  • People living in this location
  • People recently in this location
  • People traveling in this location
  • People living in or recently in this location (default)

5) Choose “People living in this location.”

If this dropdown is missing (as it often is in Boosted Posts or Page Like campaigns), switch to Ads Manager full campaign creation (not Boost), where these location refinements are available.
