Once you've identified the top-performing ad set, here's how to move forward:
What to Do Next:
1. Pause the two underperforming ad sets — no need to delete them. Keeping them paused allows you to reuse or review them later if needed.
2. To switch from Ad Set Budget to Campaign Budget Optimization (CBO)
You’ll need to create a new campaign with CBO enabled. Facebook doesn’t let you convert an existing ad set budget campaign into CBO.
3. Recreate the winning ad set inside the new CBO campaign
Use the exact targeting, creative, and settings that worked. With CBO, Facebook will manage the budget across any future ad sets you add, automatically prioritizing top performers.
Why Not Delete the Old Ad Sets?
They contain valuable data. Even if you’re done with them now, you might want to revisit those audiences or creatives later on.
