I need a bit guidance on the dimensions of the video we use for meta ads.

Around 3 dimensions are for the meta ads. How do we manage it with one creative?

Right now I’m running an video ad and it’s working fine on insta feed and reels. However, when I see the ad in Facebook Feed, the video quality is blurry.
How do I fix it?

I’m using 1080*1080 video format and it’s original quality is good.

For Meta ads, the three main dimensions to consider are:

  • Facebook Feed: Recommended 1200 x 628 pixels (16:9 aspect ratio)
  • Instagram Feed & Reels: Recommended 1080 x 1080 pixels (1:1 aspect ratio) for feeds, and 1080 x 1920 pixels (9:16 aspect ratio) for Reels

To manage one video creative across all the dimensions, follow these best practices:

- Create multiple aspect ratios: Instead of relying on a single format, create your video in multiple formats (1:1, 16:9, 9:16). You can either manually crop or use tools like Meta's creative tools to adjust the aspect ratio.

- Use the ‘Auto’ Cropping Feature: In the Ads Manager, Meta often automatically adjusts the video for each placement (Feed, Stories, etc.). However, the quality might reduce depending on the device or platform's rendering, especially when one format fits multiple placements.

Addressing the Blurry Quality in Facebook Feed:

If your video is clear on Instagram Feed & Reels but blurry on Facebook Feed, it could be due to:
