Facebook Page > people who engaged with your page or content
Instagram Account > people who visited profile, liked, commented, saved, etc.
Meta updates that list daily, adding new people who engage and removing those who fall outside the 180-day window.
So you don’t need to recreate or manually refresh that audience every week or month—it stays dynamic.
What About Lookalike Audiences?
Your Lookalike Audience (LAL) is created from the seed custom audience.
While the lookalike audience itself doesn’t technically update in real time, Meta re-calculates it periodically as your source audience changes.
