Dynamic Keyword Insertion (DKI) customizes your PPC ad copy by inserting a user’s search term directly into the ad. Here’s how it works:
Setup:
Add the {KeyWord:Default Text} syntax to your ad headlines or descriptions.
Personalization:
When triggered, the ad dynamically inserts the user’s exact search term, making it more relevant.
Default text:
If the keyword is too long or doesn’t fit, default text is displayed instead.
Example:
Input: “{KeyWord:Buy Shoes}”
User Search: “Affordable Running Shoes” → Ad shows: “Buy Affordable Running Shoes.”
DKI increases relevance, improves CTR, and can boost Quality Score when used strategically.
