The new Facebook Page experience has simplified this process. Follow these steps to grant access securely without sharing your password:
Go to Your Page: From your personal profile, switch to your business page.
Access Page Settings: On the left-hand menu, scroll down and click "Settings".
Find Page Access: In the "Settings" menu, click on "New Pages experience" > "Page access".
Add New Person: Click the "Add new" button.
Enter the Right Email: You'll be prompted to enter the person's name or email address. Use the email address your assistant uses for their personal Facebook account.
Choose Access Level: This is the most important step for security. You'll be given two options:
Facebook access: Gives them full control, like an admin.
Task access: Gives them specific, limited permissions (e.g., creating content, moderating comments, analyzing performance). For an assistant, it's best to start with "Task access" and only grant the permissions they need. You can always upgrade their access later.
Send the Invite: Click "Grant access" and enter your password to confirm. An invite will be sent.
Your assistant must then log in to their personal Facebook account and accept the invite from their notifications. Once they accept, they will be able to manage the page with the permissions you granted, without ever needing your personal login information.
