Step 1: Create a Facebook Page (The "Storefront")
Go to Facebook and select the option to Create a Page.
Name the Page your name (e.g., "Jane Doe Freelance Videographer" or simply "Jane Doe").
Set the category to "Public Figure," "Creator," "Artist," or something relevant to your freelance work.
Crucially, this new Page will be administered by your personal Facebook Profile, but it will act as your business's public entity.
Step 2: Link Your IG to the New FB Page
Go to your Instagram Professional Account settings.
Find the option to Connect or create a Facebook Page.
Select the new Page you just created.
Step 3: Access Meta Business Suite
Now, when you go to Meta Business Suite on your desktop, you will see both your Instagram Account and your new Facebook Page listed and connected.
You can now use the Planner/Scheduler to create content and select both the Instagram Account and the Facebook Page as destinations, all from your computer!
3. Will it Post to Your Personal Profile or the Page?
It will post to the Business Page.
When you cross-post or schedule from Meta Business Suite, the post will appear on your newly created Facebook Page (e.g., "Jane Doe Freelance").
It will not automatically post to your personal Facebook Profile (where your friends and family see your daily life updates).
If you want your Profile audience to see it, you can simply share the post from your Page to your Profile immediately after it goes live.
