1. Stop the Error Loop (The Quick Fix)
The "error" is often a browser or device issue where Meta thinks something is suspicious.
Go Incognito: Immediately try the password reset again using a private/incognito window or a completely different browser (like trying Firefox if you usually use Chrome). This bypasses stored cookies and sessions that might be triggering the security flag.
Use Instagram's Backdoor: Since Instagram is working, try to change your Facebook password through the Meta Accounts Center on the Instagram app.
Open Instagram Settings.
Go to Accounts Center (usually at the top).
Select Password and security.
Choose Change password and then select your linked Facebook account. This often works when the direct Facebook link fails!
2. Find the "Ghost Admin" (Your Best Bet)
For a business or club, the Page is usually controlled by a person's profile, a former employee, or a shared account.
Ask Everyone: Did a previous social media manager, club president, or even a board member have Admin access? Track down anyone who might have the login credentials. If anyone still has access, they can simply add you as a new Admin.
Check the Page Itself: Go to the public Facebook Page and look through the Page Transparency section or even the recent posts. See if the "Posted by" name gives you a clue who the current admin or owner is.
3. The Nuclear Option: Business Admin Dispute
If all else fails, you have to force a human review by proving you are the rightful owner of the sports club that the page represents. This is the official, tedious, but most effective path.
You Need Evidence:
Official Letterhead: A document on the club's letterhead, signed by someone with legal authority (like a club director or CEO), explicitly stating:
Your full name and the email address you need Admin access on.
The Facebook Page URL and Page ID.
That you are the rightful, designated media manager and need to reclaim access.
Business Proof: Official business registration papers, tax forms, or a license showing the club is a legally registered entity.
Your ID: A clear copy of your government-issued ID (passport or driver's license).
How to Submit It:
Search Google for the "Meta Business Help Center" or "Facebook Page Admin Dispute."
You'll have to navigate through their automated menus to eventually open a support ticket or a chat session (this is usually the trickiest part).
Once you connect with a rep, state that you have all the official documentation prepared for a Page Admin Dispute to reclaim access for your organization.
