Not right away. In many cases, high ACoS isn’t a bidding problem. It’s a conversion problem. Before you spend more time (and money) tweaking ads, make sure your listing is actually ready to convert traffic.
What to do instead:
1. Fix your listing first
- Strong, keyword-rich title
- 6–7 high-quality images (lifestyle + infographics)
- Clear, benefit-driven bullet points
- A+ Content (if available)
2. Get some social proof
- Aim for at least 15+ reviews before pushing ads aggressively
3. Then scale PPC
- Once your listing converts well, ad optimization actually becomes effective
A lot of sellers try to fix high ACoS by constantly adjusting bids and keywords, but if your listing isn’t converting, ads will just amplify the loss.
If your listing doesn’t convert, don’t scale traffic. Fix conversion first—then worry about PPC.
